I just received a batch of fresh and unique articles for my new site from a writer. All the 7 articles were packed in 1 file with .doc extension. Unfortunately , for some reasons it didn't open. I redownloaded the file but ended up in the same dead end. I just asked the writer to resend me the file but I'm sure I only get the file this monday since he's usually not available on friday and over the weekend.
I just did search on my favorite Google, looking for a solution to this problem. I never put any high expectation nevertheless since I never heard a way of getting around corrupt file. But hey, I just found something that save my day and I think might be useful to some of you, just in case you face the same problem as me.

How to use it?
It is simple to use. Open the corrupt Word file, preview the recoverable text in the preview window and save this text to a new error free Word file.

yup, it happened a lot long time ago, most probably because of a virus or something. It rarely happens now but I won’t take the chance :)
