Several months ago I wrote about how charming Rapidgrab was in giving people the opportunity to download Rapidshare files without paying a dime. Now it's already gone. The system is no longer in existence and the website is now replaced with a forum site. While people started losing direction as there is no new system to replace rapidgrab, RapidPremium comes as a saviour.
RapidPremium is the same as Rapidgrab in principle. Both do not cheat Rapidshare, rather, they use their premium accounts to download the files requested on your behalf, i.e they act as middle party.
How to use it?
Easy. Since the download page now resides inside the protected directory, first you need to download the file at the front page which contains the password. Speaking of the login info, the file mentioned might draw your suspicion as the zip file shouldn't go beyond 1kB. Why it's bloated up to 1.3 MB I here you ask? Rest assured, there's no trojan, spyware whatsoever inside the zip file.
File owners, either free or premium, are rewarded with certain points when their files are downloaded provided the file is greater than 1MB. By accumulating enough points, you can convert the points to extend the premium account or create another premium account. So, I guess the RapidPremium is quite smart in prolonging the longetivity of this website. Ok enough with the explanation.
Unzip the file and get the login information before you can get into the protected directory. After that you just copy and paste rapidshare link and there you go. The rest is pretty self-explanatory. The rapidshare file will be downloaded first to RapidPremium server before you can download it from the server. The download rate from RapidPremium server to my computer is quite slow. I cannot tell you for sure though whether it is originating from RapidPremium server or mine since I'm just switching to wireless router which might cause the problem. Anyway, this is a free service, so I don't expect to download at lightning speed.

Am hamza, and owner of RP :)
First off, thanks a lot for blogging about RP.
RP is basically in its early stages right now, so I can only say that you should expect the speeds to be slow since there’s a lot of people downloading files simultaneously, which sort of throttles the VPS.
Ofcourse, I’ll upgrade it, but it’ll take time, since I make nothing out of RP :)
