Delutube: Recover deleted Youtube videos

DeletubeYouTube continuously deletes videos that infringe copyright. Don't get shocked when you find your favourite videos deleted when you wake up in the next morning. Luckily there's a way to retrieve and still watch the deleted videos.

Delutube allows visitors to enter the video ID of a deleted clip, then attempts to retrieve the clip from YouTube's system. The reason it works is most recent deleted videos are not physically deleted from Youtube server, analogous to putting them in the recylebin in your computer before you permanently remove them from your computer.

If the youtube video doesn't show up in your screen, it's most likely removed permanently from the server. Don't risk your favourite videos from being deleted; take action before they are long gone.

This is interesting. Wish I had known about this earlier because a few music videos I liked were deleted.

If your favourite videos just “disappeared” recently, you stand a better chance of retrieving them..otherwise :(

DelTube never lasted long due to the fact that it never revovered any deleted youtube vids, all it did was fetch the deleted video which remained in Googles Cache for upto an hour after the “Video Has Been Removed” message was replaced by the offending video in question.
However, seeing that this post is 2yrs old, and probably be another 2yrs before a reply to my post is made, I just thought I’d reply for the hell of it :).
Although highly unlikely, you could possibly do the same as what deltube did, by either searching googles cache (which would probably bring no joy, seeing as google owns youtube, so they would be wise enough to not include the deleted videos in the cache options from a Google Search. The only other thing to try, is looking through Wayback Machines website, which store pages on how webpages looked from years back, which may include videos that were deleted no less then 1 hr after it was found and deleted via youtube.

Worth a try, but highly unlikrly you’ll get any joy from both of the above ideas.
