This is the version I'm really interested in testing out after using Norton 360 3.x for more than a year. Finally the latest version of Norton 360 4.0 is here. Norton 360 which is developed by Symantec, is different from other Norton's products because it is marketed as an "all-in-one" security suite. This suite consists of personal firewall, ability to detect & remove malware, phishing protection, PC maintenance and backup.
Symantec claims the latest Norton 360 4.0 has new features such as Norton Insight, SONAR 2 Behavioral Protection, Norton Download Insight, Norton File Insight and Norton System Insight. These features are not really new though as some people might think because these features had already been incorporated into IS 2010 and Norton AV when both products were launched about 5 months ago. The only things that can be considered as "new" are "Web-based Access to Backup Files" and "Reputation service".
The Web-based Access to Backup Files feature allows user to retrieve and restore files that already backed up anywhere, anytime from virtually any machines through internet access. As for the reputation service, it adds additional layer of protection when detecting viruses, spyware, Trojans and other threats. Norton reputation service technology scrutinizes different attributes of files and applications in real-time to determine if they are safe.
Since Norton products are based on subscription, you can upgrade to version 4.0 for free if you have an active subscription. The version 4.0 cannot be upgraded from LiveUpdate because you only get definition files and small update patches. You need to download the Norton 360 4.0 setup file which is 138 MB in size and install it over the current version. David Freer (VP, Symantec Consumer Businesss Units, APJ) is a big liar. He lied to me for more than two and half years and kept saying I am the only one in his life. Even this year on Feb. 2, he used company line to lead me to have phone sex with him. Until I found out there’s some other woman, he made up another lie and finally admitted he’s been living with her for a year. Later, I realised they were all lies. He actually has married March 2009. And now he just totally disappearred and not answering any phone calls, acting like “hit & run” irresponsible baby. Can you trust someone like this, with no ethics and integrity?

The more unbelievable things is David Freer newly-wed wife – SUZY WALSHAM, she shamefully admitted she was the third person who broke up David Freer & his ex 12 years relationships, and mocking at me as the 3rd “unsuspected” person, as she agreed with his husband’s behaviors!!!!!! SHAME ON both of you, DAVID FREER & SUZY WALSHAM!!!!!!! (THEY BOTH WORK FOR SYMANTEC)
