I was checking for some plugins that are compatible with WordPress 2.1 when I stumbled upon this great plugin, article plugin. It appealed me at the first glance as it is capable of pulling out articles of good quality that reside in my sacred archive and present them to the visitors according to category they fall into. You can see the plugin at my "article" link at the top menu or a picture below shows how it looks like when put in motion.
It is essentially important to note that this article plugin will be more appreciated by the readers if you are able to categorise each of your post into a particular category rather than put them in few categories. Otherwise, a post will appear few times under different categories in article page.

Sometimes, new visitor might want to take the whole structure of your blog and at the same time they might be looking for something interesting, nothing in particular..
If that’s the case, article plugin will have the edge over related plugin. For me related post is extremely useful when visitor is reading a post and trying to pull out related articles out of our blog.
Both should work together to ensure maximum exposure of your posts.
