Free up memory usage in Firefox with RAMBack

Firefox 3.0 was very much awaited with the anticipation that the memory consumption problem in the previous version was improved. It seems the same problem still plagues this latest version of Firefox. I know there are few tips out there to improve the memory consumption, but it doesn't change much.

RAMBack is a firefox plugin that can, to a certain extent, reduce memory consumption especially when you open too many tabs. The memory is increasing but not as much as without this plugin. Basically RAmback clears out memory cached that is not in use.

Apart from using this plugin you should take a closer look to other addons too because few of them can cause the Firefox to leak memory.

slow download? never had such problem. Download rate is more related to broadband bandwidth. Since I live in countryside, the speed is always at full throttle :)
