Windows Live Messenger 2010 is a part of the Windows Live Essentials 4 that has been long anticipated by Windows users. Windows Live Messenger has reached milestone 3 and consequently more screenshots started to appear on the internet showing new social features and its improved interface. Windows Live Essentials 4 is still under private beta testing, but it is now leaking all over the net and is available for download.
This leaked build is meant for few people to beta test the application, so a patch has been created to allow anybody who is interested in trying out the next Windows Live messenger 2010. Features may differ as well, as the final version approaches, but the main new feature in this release is the social and expanded contacts view.
