Yellowsnow, the most anticipating and biggest New Year's gift for iPhone 3G community is finally out and ready to be downloaded. Yellowsnow is essentially the ultimate hacking utility to unlock iPhone 3G firmware 2.2 and is specially brought by Dev Team (previously engineered similar tool to unlock iPod Touch and iPhone 2G). It was initially scheduled to be unleashed on New Year’s Eve of 2009 but for some reasons it came out a bit late.
This particular unlock works exclusively with baseband 02.28.00 (it means it works on baseband 02.28.00 ONLY and not the previous ones) which comes with iPhone OS v2.2. So, for those who have pwned their iPhone to 2.2 without a full restore will need to restore to 2.2 directly in iTunes and then use QuickPwn to activate otherwise your baseband might be outdated.

The problem you are having might be because you are using a capital “O” instead of a zero “0″

the iphone 3G with firware 2.21 running on 2.30 can be unlock but first u need to downgrage baseband from 2.30 to 2.28 and then unlock but it will only work if ur bootloader is 5.08 or lower not higher for any one who needs info contact me recoshaa@yahoo.com

you can unlock your iphone for free dudes. you don’t need to pay for it. The div team unlocked it first and people are selling it. I am not sure what this is, but you don’t need to pay to unlock an iphone.
