I'm sure this hack will make the owners of disposable digital camera stores restless all the time as this post will reveal the secret on how to hack cheap disposable camera such that you can use it over and over again. Thanks for stopping by :) With wordpress 2.1 it’s pretty simple to embed any videos from video sharing websites. Switch to code tab instead of visual tab when you are about to write a post and copy & paste the entire code obtained from the metacafe. That’s it!

Not a bad video… Does the information in the video apply to all disposable digital cameras? (Never knew they existed!) But I am sure that there are many different brands available… so the advise and tips in the video are universal for all cameras?
Looks pretty easy… what is the average price of a disposable digital camera? Also, how many mega pixels does the average disposable digital camera have? Depending on the answers… I am trying to see if doing this hack is cost effective? Sounds fun though!

Not really now what brand is it,but i think for now it just the brand from the video only..Anyway,the digital camera is only $20 dollars!Cost effective!

Frankly speaking, I don’t even know about the existence of disposable digital camera until a friend of mine in malaysia told me yup it does exist..Unfortunately, I never seen such product in uk..
I’m not sure whether this hack applies to all brands. If you are really into modding electronic stuffs, it’s worth a try ;)

I’m afraid that’s not amazon affiliates (it’s chitika e-minimall ;))I didn’t use any plugin but I put the code generated into the loop in main index template.
I guess, Shoemoney is looking for new buzz around the net..so better keep our blogs in good shape all the time :)

You can buy a real digital camera for $20.00 and probably have better quality than the disposable digital camera. In my opinion, this is not cost effective. $20.00 for the disposable camera, $10.00 for the cord, $2.00 for the solder, $10.00 for the iron, not to mention that you will have to pay more money if you mess up soldering… to me, it’s just not worth the time, money and effort if you are doing this to try to save money… because it doesn’t.
Now, if you are looking to do this to gain experience with modding, hacking, and soldering… then awesome… doing all this is worth the time, effort and money because you gain experience.
I still like the video, but have to say that this is not a cost effective practice and you are better off using the money that you would spend on the disposable camera and supplies and just buy a real digital camera for under $40.00.

Agreed. Even if it can save me some money I’m still looking for the real digital camera, the robust one. I dont want to spend my time to figure out and to fix the camera should something goes wrong. Anyway I love my Canon Ixus 430 (it’s almost been 2 years)it works like a charm as always :)
