Demonoid is back! Many people talk about this lately and the resurrection only came to my knowledge when there is a sudden surge of traffic looking for demonoid invitation. This torrent site went offline on November 9, 2007 when demonoid's host decided to pull the plug due to alleged legal threats from the Canadian Recording Industry Association and was back online again precisely on April 11th 2008. It's good to see it's back up and running again though not in its full capacity (the forum is still not accessible due to maintenance).

If you notice, these torrent sites won't go offline for long. Suprnova.org is another good example. They disappeared when they were at the brink of destruction due to legal action and after the dust settle they will be back up online to serve the community again.

Regarding the invitation code, I will come up with another post when I get several of them.

For those who use torrent intensively for downlading various kind of digital media, demonoid is probably a term that you are familiar with. Anyway, Demonoid is one of the largest private bit torrent website on the internet and is a well-known bit torrent tracker.

Demonoid is now opened to the public rather than previously, solely depending on the Demonoid member's invitation. Don't get upset if you get into demonoid website and it reads "Registrations are closed". It is only opened on every friday. So, make sure you can spare few minutes on friday to complete the registration.

Me: I'm living in university accomodation, behind tight firewall and depending so much on forumw.org (rapidshare files repository) ;)
