iPhone 4G Concept Design – A MacBook In a Phone

Recent rumor about Iphone 4G (3rd generation) captured attention of many enthusiasts across the blogosphere after unprecedented sales volume of more than 13 million units of its predecessor in 2008. The sleek design brilliantly crafted in iPhone 3G, has created sky high expectation for its successor but will the next generation deliver?

With Apple shows no interest on this rumor (via), it's too early to say anything about the next iPhone. Anyway, here's some of the new features:

3.2 Megapixel camera
Titanium and glass
True GPS
OLED screen
Removable battery
32 GB of space
Front camera for chat

The features look great, I hope they will be all implemented along with bluetooth transfer feature. 3.2 Megapixel camera is OK, but why not a 5 MP camera like other phones? Design wise, I personally think it's a big NO NO. The color scheme doesn't look good and I expect more rounded edge. And why a square home button?

I hope to see sexier design for iPhone 4G like Apple always do in its products.

Keyboardless HTC Google Android G2 Leaked Photos

The battle to break iPhone domination of touchscreen smart phone market continues with the promising look of the next generation of HTC Google Android, the G2. Gizmodo recently unveiled the leaked photos of the Google G1 successor that is rumored to hit the market by the end of first half 2009. There are several changes and improvements made on the upcoming Google Android G2 with the hope to ignite enough spark of interest amongst the smart phone enthusiasts.

One of the obvious changes is the absence of physical QWERTY keyboard. Some people may be a bit disappointed with this change but as an iPhone user, I prefer G2 with no physical keyboard. Design wise, G2 has now the right vibrant color scheme for its body; white instead of the boring pale gray color on its predecessor and the shiny curvy backside of G2 adds the appeal to G2.

Among other feature that will be implemented on HTC Google Android G2 is the 3.2 MP camera, mounted on the back of the smart phone. Looking forward for the official announcement!

Sony Ericsson 12MP Camera Phone under Developement

2008 sets new standard for mobile phones with the emergence of 8 megapixel line-up, that's more than expected from a phone. If 8 megapixel is not enough for you, 2009 promises you better deals. Sony Ericcson, one of the renowned phone manufacturers, is planning to raise the bar to a new height with the introduction of 12 megapixel camera phone. The upcoming phone should be the successor of Sony Ericsson C905, codenamed Shiho, which is equipped with an 8.1 MP camera together with all features required high quality photography.

The next Sony Ericsson phone in the line codenamed Kokura will based on TI3240 chipset, Symbian 9.4 S60 OS and will have touchscreen interface similar to iPhone and the Tube.

This 12 MP Camera Phone is said to have a design resemblance to Sony Ericsson C905 and is expected to be in the market by the 2nd half of 2009. Design wise, it should be thinner and slimmer in line with the current trend. It is also rumoured that this phone will have a 800 x 480 WVGA display support, CD quality audio performance, and high resolution video support including Mobile TV.

Though this news remains as a rumor as just yet, but with all technologies the parent company, Sony, has up its sleeves, the said device is possible to be materialized.

With 2008 is drawing near to the end, 2009 will come with lot of anticipations from Sony Ericsson.

Nokia 5800 Xpress Music Officially Announced

Now it's Nokia's turn to unveil its long-awaited touchscreen mobile phone, Nokia 5800 or also known as "The Tube" after T-Mobile's Google-powered G1 was officially launched recently. With Nokia 5800 has already set foot in the touchscreen realm, the only question that boggles users is whether the dubbed iPhone killer can really live to the expectation and steal some of Apple’s market share?

First, let's take a look at the specifications. The Nokia XpressMusic 5800 Tube sports all the top notch features that we expect from Nokia.

The Nokia Xpress Music 5800 features 3.2" high resolution display (640 x 360 pixels) packs in a pressure based touch screen. Google G1 phone officially announced, debut October 22

Google G1 phone which was unveiled at its official launch event in New York on September 23rd, 2008 confirmed the leaked images that have been around the internet recently. Google phone or also known as HTC Dream G1 will run on the Google's open source mobile operating system, Android.

According to T-Mobile, the device is expected to hit U.S. stores Oct. 22 at the $179 price tag ($20 less than the least expensive iPhone in the U.S) with a 2-year contract. It will head to Britain in November 2008 and other European countries by early 2009. The data plan for the Google G1 phone will be available at $25 per month which belongs to the low end of the range for data plans at U.S. wireless carriers.
