So here's the top 5 hoaxes and pranks.

1. Good Times - User are warned that opening an email with Good Times in the subject line would erase their hard drive, destroy their processor, demagnetize any nearby electronics and kill their dogs. It made its first debut around the early age of the internet around 1994.

2. 48 Hours - This is a relatively recent hoax claimed that hovering your mouse cursor over the infected email was enough to activate it, wiping out not just your hard drive but also your BIOS too.

3. Life is Beautiful - Emails circulated warning of a powerpoint presentation called Life is Beautiful that if clicked would erase your hard drive and give the sender your username, email and password.

4. Honor System - This email contained no payload, instead asking recipients to manually delete all files on their hard drives and to forward the message to everyone in their contact lists. Participation of course was completely voluntary. The best hoax that made me laughing :D

5. Lion's Den - Aptly named, Lion's Den originated from a porn site, looking to draw hits. The email warned of a new deadly virus, providing a link for more information. Instead recipients got an eyeful.

He died three weeks later, becoming the victim of a high profile nuclear crime and the first known victim of lethal polonium-210-induced acute radiation syndrome. In many ways, polonium-210 is an ideal poison for espionage -- deadly, and undetectable until it's too late.
A dose of the white powder smaller than a grain of salt could have been dropped into Litvinenko's drink at the Millennium Hotel's Pine Bar in London without altering the taste, according to chemist John Emsley of Cambridge University.

Within minutes of ingestion, the energetic particles shooting off the polonium-210 molecules began killing the cells lining Litvinenko's gastrointestinal tract. As the cells sloughed off, they caused nausea, severe internal bleeding and enormous pain.


"It was as if his internal organs received a severe sunburn and peeled," said Peter Zimmerman, a physicist at King's College London.

Pound for pound, polonium-210 is at least a million times more toxic than hydrogen cyanide, the poison used to execute prisoners in gas chambers, according to medical toxicology books. Radiation safety experts calculate that a single gram of polonium could kill 50 million people and sicken another 50 million.

But it is extremely hard to get. About 100 grams — or 3 1/2 ounces — are produced each year, primarily by Russia.

Well, I'm amazed by the coordination performed by the Japanese bees in order to effectively defeat the hornets.

Basically, the Japanese bees will engulf the hornet collectively and starts to pile up upon the predator into a densed ball, leaving the predator with no space for escaping. At the same time the bees produces high frequency vibration by vibrating their muscles. The vibrations will eventually produce an escalating heat at the core of the ball (the predator).

When the temperature at the core reaches 45 °C, the predator cannot stand with the heat and die. Remarkably, bees survive up to 48 °C! I hope the following video will give you a better insight of bees' defense mechanism and better appreciation. Enjoy!
