Apple iTunes 8.1 which was released on Wednesday evening, comes with numerous bug fixes, support for CD imports to iTunes Plus, performance enhancements and new Genius features. This iTunes latest update is available to both Windows and Mac operating systems.
iTunes 8.1 works faster and more responsive as compared to the previous version. You can see the difference when you are working on a large libraries, preparing to sync with iPhone or iPod, browsing the iTunes Store and optimizing photos for syncing.

One significant new feature in iTunes 8.1 worth to mention is the Party Shuffle (iTunes DJ) which works like a charm at picking songs from a specific playlist or from your entire library.
