The addition of images next to Google Adsense ads is generally known will increase click through rate (CTR) and Tips.com.my adds up a new way to increase CTR - Video next to AdSense ads!
From the following screenshot, it can be seen that a YouTube video is nicely placed next to the AdSense advertisements and the chosen video suits to the page content - wedding. It might give you better impression because very few sites using this layout (This is the first site I came across to put video next to Adsense ads.)
The YouTube video can be easily resized to fit the page layout by manually changing the width and height of YouTube code.

The only thing that should be aware of is not to use any copyrighted materials. That will be against the TOS

Is video adsense a good way to improve clicks? I am new to adsense and I’ve heard advice from people saying that contrasting ads colors tend to achieve better CTR compared to ads that tend to blend into the entire page content.
Do you guys have any advice on this?
I found a site that seems to be pretty well-blend. The ads and the content seem to blend in together seamlessly.

I personally feel that blending ads into content is a better choice but I just wanna hear more advice.
