Western Union payment is really a godsend to Adsense publishers especially those who live in a country where EFT is not available. Check is the only payment method available some time ago (including Malaysia) though we know it takes ages before we can reap the earnings. However since Western Union was added as an alternative method for withdrawing Adsense earnings, most publishers prefer to use Western Union because it's fast.
Adsense has been taking aggressive approach to further expand Western Union to more countries and recently Western Union was introduced in Panama.
