There are literally hundreds of social bookmarking websites out there, but only 83 out of them were listed according to pagerank in my previous post. Like I mentioned previously, social bookmarking could be a powerful tool in promoting your blog to wider readers and getting more backlinks.

I have been experimenting socialmarker too. In your experience would you say it works? I am not so sure it’s actually submitting my posts to the other networks when I use it.
Might sound like a silly question, but do I need to have accounts with all the other networks in order for my submission to work via socialmarker?
I would appreciate the benefit of your experience on this.

I have been using socializer for a while now and just started using socialmarker. In fact, I wrote an article about socialmarker this week.
I really like socializer when I want to submit an article to a particular website. If I want to submit the article to a lot of social news sites, then socialmarker is awesome.
Another tip is to use RoboForm so that your logins are easy to do.

First and foremost, sorry for not noticing several comments on the moderation.
deep.thought @ there are few things you need to do.
1. First you need to use firefox and registered with social bookmarking websites available in the socialmarker site.
2. Make sure to sign in to every social bookmarking.
3. Install the plugin provided and the socialmarker button (after activation), will appear at the bottom of your post.
4. Now the exciting part; press the social marker button and you will be directed to socialmarker.com. The plugin will automatically pre-populate the submission form with the selected information.
5. Take note at the top right corner, there’s navigation bar. Press next and submit and do it until you finish all the 32 social bookmarking sites.
It’s not compulsory to register to all, you can simply skip any social bookmarking you are not registered to.

thanks for this article. I have been using both socializer and socialmaker. as far as i know, socializer doesn’t prepopulate the form like socializer. that’s why i like socialmaker better. what do you say?
as for maher, could it be that s-he was talking about onlywire, a site that hellps to bookmark simultaneously to 19 sb sites? btw, don’t bother about onlywire, i have read somewhere (but i don’t know the url anymore) that it is scam and stores log in info of users.

Hi,
I don’t understand the comments here on Socialmarker.com about having to register at the sites they are supposed to be doing this for me since I have paid them to submit my site to 1000 directories and 125 social networking sites?
They said it would take 2 weeks and it has been 5 and still I have a big fat 0 page rank?
Have I missed something here?

Greg - I’m afraid you are not using socialmarker but socialmarking.com. Socialmarker is completely FREE and you need to have accounts on the social bookmarking sites before a submission can be done
socialmarking.com is completely different because it is a paid submission.

I am doing submission for quite a while and didn’t give importance to social book markeing but since I read few articles and post on blog it really attract me and give me sense of importance by using the social book markeing websites.
